Vice President, Disputes Resolution Group
Warner’s Disputes Resolution Group is currently seeking a senior level industry professional with experience in federal government and private sector construction projects for a Vice President position – a self-motivated leader with 15+ years experience in providing expert services in the areas of scheduling and delay analysis, productivity analysis, and cost/damage analysis on a wide variety of projects, including qualifying and testifying as an expert witness. Experience in contracting, construction management, personnel management/development and team building as well as providing litigation support and disputes resolution services required.
Responsibilities: Provide technical/administrative leadership and management; frequently serves as the final authority in field of specialty. Plan and control resource requirements, and allocate and control resource utilization for area of responsibility. Serve as official company representative to clients. Coordinate multiple projects with multiple staff teams. Provide leadership and take primary role in identifying work scope and analysis methods. Authors and leads the development of expert reports used in litigation
Qualifications: B.S. in Engineering or Architectural/Building Science, Construction Management or the equivalent in experience. Minimum of 15 years dispute resolution experience. Professional registration and advanced degree highly desired. Experience in Primavera and other major scheduling programs required. Superior interpersonal skills, creative solution and problem solving skills. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Prior experience with accounting systems and processes. Has qualified as and testified as an expert. Must demonstrate proven track record in performing, managing, and marketing disputes resolution services with strong industry familiarization/recognition and construction attorney contacts/clientele. Ability to formulate a working relationship with other departments. Must be computer literate in word processing, spreadsheet and database applications. Must have the ability to work and remain in the United States. Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally.
