Joseph R. Wasilewski joins Warner as Senior Vice President of Warner’s Project Management
Group, a combination of its Project Management and Scheduling Divisions.
Joe has over 30 years of diversified, large-scale development and construction management experience throughout the Washington metropolitan region and the US, having managed the design and construction of more than $3 billion of building projects. His extensive portfolio includes suburban and downtown office buildings, urban retail, high-rise residential, hotel, government-occupied buildings, corporate headquarters, research facilities, and industrial/manufacturing complexes.
Joe’s experience includes overseeing complex multi-phase development projects with difficult construction challenges such as complicated below-grade or site construction, working around and over Metro subway stations, building renovations, large tenant build-outs, and projects with sophisticated ownership and financing structures. His direction and oversight during the design phase has led to highly-efficient, cost-effective, buildable projects that meet the Owner’s budget, schedule and quality objectives.
Joe was most recently responsible for heading up the Construction Management Team at Monument Realty in Washington, DC, where he oversaw more than 15 projects amounting to over $1 billion in construction value. His projects included Ballpark at Half Street, a one million square foot mixed use development adjacent to the new Nationals Stadium; Columbia Center, a 400,000 square foot downtown office building occupied by a major local law firm; renovation of the Madison Hotel and office building; Randolph Square, a 220,000 square foot building for the US Patent and Trade Office; Potomac Yard, a 750,000 square foot office complex occupied by the EPA; and the repositioning of the Watergate Hotel. He also supervised the design and construction of a number of high-rise condominium projects including the planning and design of a $150 million resort condominium complex in Telluride, Colorado.
Prior to joining Warner, Joe held senior management positions with several other high profile real estate/development and construction firms in the Washington, DC area including Quadrangle Development, DANAC Corporation and Clark Construction Group. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Cornell University and a Master of Science in Construction Management from the University of California, Berkeley.
